ALERT! DISRUPTION IN OSUN, AS YORUBA, HAUSA CLASH IN ILE-IFE

[Osun]– Some occupants of Ile-Ife, Osun State, has been reported to have fled their homes as there is a clash between Yoruba and Hausa people in the area.

The fight was caused by a misunderstanding between a Yoruba man and an Hausa man at Sabo area of Ife, the Punch reports.

The Yoruba man was said to have been beaten by some  Hausa traders but they were calmed.

However, fight erupted on Wednesday and some persons were said to have been killed.

This is, however, yet to be verified.

Some residents were seen fleeing the Sabo area, while some kiosks were set ablaze by an angry mob.
