BUHARI RETURNS TO NIGERIA AFTER 50 DAYS VACATION

[Abuja]–President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Nigeria after 50 days visit to the United Kingdom on medical vacation.

The President arrived at about 4am at the Kaduna Airport, after which he was moved to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The information on the President’s arrival was first announced by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adeshina, on March 9, 2017.

Mr. Femi Adeshina in a three-paragraph statement had said the President was expected to return today after several extension of the medical vacation due to doctors’ recommendation.

“President Buhari expresses appreciation to teeming Nigerians from across the country, and beyond, who had prayed fervently for him, and also sent their good wishes”, the statement reads in part.
