ONDO: AKEREDOLU SET TO CALL AN EDUCATION SUMMIT

[Ondo]–Mr. Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, the executive governor of Ondo State, is set to call for an all-encompassing education summit in the state.

The governor made this revelation while receiving the Governing Council of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko led by its Chairman, Otunba Solomon Oladunni.

The governor added that the Education Summit which would soon be organized by his administration will proffer permanent solutions to the various problems confronting the Tertiary Institutions in the state.

Akeredolu further explained that the Education Summit would have stakeholders in the education sector in attendance , including parents, teachers and students, would provide veritable opportunity towards taking decisions on some contentious issues within the state owned Tertiary Institutions.

He finally assured the council of the University that the February salaries to be paid to Civil Servants in Ondo State will accommodate  the University  as well  as staff of other state owned institutions in the state.
