BUHARI RESUMES WORK AS NIGERIA PRESIDENT

[On Twitter]– President Muhammadu Buhari has resumed work as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, taking over control from Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who was formerly acting in his capacity.

The President made this known through his official twitter handle, @MBuhari, on March 13, 2017.

“I resumed work today. I’ve formally transmitted letters to @NGRSenate & @HouseNGR, in compliance with S145 of the amended 1999 constitution”, he tweeted.

It should be remembered that although President Buhari arrived in the early hours of Friday, March 10, 2017, but in a meeting with some of  his cabinet members, he said that he was going to rest over the weekend, and resume work on Monday.
