BUHARI MEETS WITH SARAKI, OSINBAJO, DOGARA OVER BUDGET, OTHER ISSUES

[Abuja]– President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting which happened to be first  since the arrival of the President on Friday, held inside the President’s office this morning, Tuesday March 14,2017.

According to a twitter account of the Nigerian government, @DigiCommsNG, the meeting witnessed the discussion of its incidents that took place before the arrival of the President, as well as to discuss the 2017 budget, among other issues.

“Meeting was in essence for NASS leadership to brief PMB on activities while he was away. Also to discuss pressing issues like #Budget2017”, the tweet reads.

THE PAGE had earlier reported that the President arrived the country on Friday, but resumed work on Monday, after writing the National Assembly of his resumption.
