[Delta]–The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe, Agadagba, has ended the celebration of his first anniversary as Monarch, by calling on President Muhammadu Buhari, to restructure the country.

He said that the restructuring of the country could be done by the implementation of the 2014   National Confab report, as he believes this will find solution to the plethora of problems faced in the country.

The monarch also thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for asking the Vice President to meet and discuss with the people of Niger Delta, in the area of peace and security. He urged the government to seek solutions to the problems confronting the people of the oil rich region.

He urged the entire Ijaw nation to be law abiding, promote the tradition and cultures of their ancestors as well as educate their children to communicate in the Ijaw language at all times.

“The ultimate solution to the plethora of problems facing this nation is restructuring of the country, which can be achieved by the implementation of the 2014 national conference report.”

““It is obvious that the problem of Nigeria is a foundational one and the only solution to such a problem is to work on the foundation, which is basically restructuring of the country”, he said.

It should be noted that the week long ceremonies marking the first anniversary of the installation of the Monarch ended yesterday.
