[Ibadan]–Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state and the largest city in West Africa is currently trending on twitter over a love story gone wrong.

It all started when Adeniji Olaoluwa Ayodeji identified as @Pabloayodeji on twitter posted a tweet in response to a love rejection from another tweeter user identified as @MissMoshiku after he had taken her out on a date.

Some girls are just mad. You agreed to go on a date with me and you’re telling me you not interested in a relationship. #brokeasshungrybitch

Surprisingly, the lady replied him on Twitter by transferring to him, the total amount he spent on the date and more.

“Use the change for public transport”, she added after the tweet showing the funds transfer.

Since then, users have taken to the micro-blogging platform to praise the lady’s action and deride the young man equating dating with acceptance for a relationship.

Just few hours ago, Ibadan came into the picture when users started comparing the cost of living in Ibadan and Lagos in relation to the love story.

#KeepTheChangeBae, another hashtag tweeter users have coined to refer to the lady is also currently trending just after #Ibadan in Nigeria.
