Osun state special school: Principal laments invasion of miscreants into premises, demands perimeter fence

[Osun]–The Principal of Osun State Secondary School for Persons with Special Needs, Osogbo, Mr. Rasheed Agbelekale has lamented the invasion of miscreant into the premises of the school.

The Principal, Mr. Rasheed said this during his speech delivered within the school premises during the occasions of the commissioning of bridge leading to the school, constructed by the Lions Club of Nigeria.

Rasheed said ” The school lacks perimeter and it made the school to be very porous which makes it easy for miscreant to enter the school premises to carry out any of their act.

“Sometimes last year,  one of our female student was raped because of the porosity of our environment and if this(fence) can be taken care of we are save.” He added.

However, he expressed his happiness towards the bridge project  executed by the Lions Club International District 404B-2 Nigeria.

He said ” We are here today to celebrate the Lions Clubs today for their glorious deeds of providing money and construction of a bridge linking the school with the outside. Some months ago, the old bridge was washed away by flood which made the school not accessible by vehicles and dangerous to pass through during the flood.”

The District Governor of Lions Group 404B-2, Mr. Taiwo Adewumi said ” the project we commissioned today is to build legacy and this is not the only way we give back to society but we have carried out several empowerment program for youths and pupils by taking them through several training to be a good and entrepreneurs entrepreneurs in our societies”
