Four outstanding Nigerian students bag merit scholarship in Turkey

[Turkey]–Four exceptional Nigerian students have been awarded merit scholarships in Turkey by the Middle East Technical University, Ankara.

They were awarded for their excellence in Aerospace Engineering, having attained excellent CPGAs.

The students; Ayo Bankole had 4.7, Solomon Tawari had 4.78, Kendra Chioma had 4.98 and Maxwell Adoyele had 4.7 out of 5.

They were all awarded with an amount of 10,000 Turkish lira, which is equivalent to $3,000, for 5 months.

Middle East Technical University is a public technical University located in Ankara Turkey.

The university puts special emphasis on research and education in engineering and natural science, offering about 40 undergraduate programs within 5 faculties, and 97 masters and 62 doctorate programs within 5 graduate schools.

The main campus of METU spans an area of 11,100 acres (4,500 ha), comprising, in addition to academic and auxiliary facilities, a forest area of 7,500 acres (3,000 ha), and the natural lake Eymir METU has more than 120,000 alumni worldwide.

The official language of instruction at METU is English Language.
