Easter: Fire outbreak warded off on third mainland bridge

[Lagos]–A fire outbreak was averted on third mainland bridge after fire broke from the cables on the bridge.

The incident took place on Monday, April 17, 2017, Naij reports.

It was reported that the quick intervention of combined officials of the Federal Road Management Agency (FERMA) and the electricity generation companies (Gencos) led to the quick stop of the fire from spreading.

The incident was confirmed by the Rapid Response Squad unit of the Lagos State Police Command after tweets of real-time pictures on Monday.
