UNIOSUN missing students: investigation is still on, they are still alive, Osun CP assures

[Osogbo]–The Osun State Commissioner Of Police, Mr. Adeoye Fimihan had assured that the  two 400-level  students of Osun State University who were missing seven months ago are still alive and Investigation is still on.

Fimihan said this during his courtesy visit with his team to the Nigeria Union Correspondent Chapel, Osogbo, Osun State.

He said ” The Police are still investigating the case to know and to assure that they are reunited with their family ”

“Once a person is declared missing he can’t be declare dead until after seven years so we believe that those missing students are alive because we have investigations that lasted for seven-ten years”.

Fimihan also assured that the police will continue to maintain peace and stability in the state.

It should be recalled that two students, Robert Akinduro and Samuel Eke, two final year students at the Computer Science department of Osun State University (UNIOSUN) have reportedly gone missing since September 5, 2016.

Reports say they were reportedly preparing for their projects when the unfortunate incident happened.
