Just In: Police declares militia leader, Terwase wanted, Benue Govt Promises 10million reward for informant

[Abuja]–The Nigerian Police has declared militia leader, Terwase Akwaza, also known as Ghana wanted and the Benue Government has promised 10 million Naira reward for informant.

The Nigeria Police had declared militia leader, Terwase wanted on Friday while parading 19 members of Akwaza’s gang at the Police Headquarters in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory..

The Militia leader popularly called Ghana who is from Benue Sate has been accused of several killing of 17 people and destruction of properties worth millions in Zaki Biam.

The Benue State government has also promised the sum of N10million for anybody who provides the security personnel with information.

THE PAGE had earlier reported that the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Friday March 25, absolved Fulani herdsmen of blame over the Monday killings in Zaki Biam, which he said was perpetrated by a known criminal, Gana, who according to him is on the police wanted list and would soon be apprehended.

Twice, a joint task force which included the military and police raided Gbitse, the ‘den of the terrorist leader’ but failed to apprehend him.
