[Abuja]–In what is known to be an unconstitutional act, Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has declared Ekiti state as part of Biafra.

He mentioned this while speaking to newsmen, during the bail hearing of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, at the Federal High Court that sat in Abuja on Tuesday.

“Ekiti State is now part of Biafra,” he declared.

THE PAGE had earlier reported that governor Fayose was present at the court sitting when the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, was granted bail for the first time since the commencement of his trial for alleged treason, since 2015.

The presiding judge, Binta Nyako, gave the order to allow Mr. Kanu attend to his ailing health condition. The judge further warned that Kanu must not participate in any rally or be found in a crowd of more than 10 persons in the course of the bail.
