Police arrests eleven cultist in Ogun State

[Ogun]–Ogun state policemen have arrested eleven members of a notorious cult group who have been terrorising ijeja area of Agbado.

This is contained in a press release signed by Abimbola Oyeyemi, the state’s police public relations officer.

According to him, the suspects were rounded up in their hideout where they were planing to launch attack.

He further revealed that items recovered from them are one UTC axe, one UTC cutlass, some blue berets, charms and other dangerous weapons.

“The commissioner of police CP Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered that the suspects be transferred to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for proper investigation and prosecution.

“He therefore warned that the state will never be conducive for anybody who want to hid under any cult group to wreck havoc on innocent
citizens of the state,” he added.

The suspects include Abayomi Agbefolaju male 25yrs, Alaba Ayoade male 17yrs, Olamide Abdul
Rasheed male 21yrs, Hakeem Ayoola male 21yrs, Olaoye Gbolahan male 21yrs, Adebayo  Julius male 21yrs, Taiwo Sodiq male 22yrs, Teniola Imoleayo male 22yrs, Adesina Aminat  female 20yrs, Seun
Odemuyiwa female 18yrs and Kehinde Adunoye female 18yrs.
