Adamawa state camp ready for corps members as government relocates IDPs after three years

[Adamawa]–Adamawa state governments has announced the readiness of the NYSC camp located in the state to accommodate corps members after over 300 Internally Displaced Person previously living there have been relocated.

Channels Tv reported that although some of the IDPs are refusing to go to Malkohi camp, most of them have already moved to their new camp.

This is coming after the IDPs lived at the NYSC camp for three years.

Haruna Furo, the Executive Secretary Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, says while some of the displaced persons are to be in Malkohi camp in Yola south Local Government Area, others will be going to the host communities or their liberated hometowns.

It was further reported that the state government said that the camp will now accommodate corps members posted to Adamawa State for orientation camping.
