[Borno]–Not fewer than seventeen people were killed in a fresh suicide bomb attacks near a camp meant for those internally displaced by Boko Haram violence in northeast Nigeria.
According to vanguard, this was disclosed by emergency services on Monday.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the attacks took place at about 8:45 pm (1945 GMT) close to the Dalori camp at Kofa village, near Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
According to a report by DAILY POST, the multiple explosions that rocked Dalori area of Maiduguri, happened on Sunday night.
Residents of the area said that military vehicles conveying soldiers for reinforcement were seen heading towards Kofa village, near Dalori.
Hospital sources said Boko Haram fighters earlier ambushed and attacked soldiers along Maiduguri-Biu road.
They disclosed that corpses of three soldiers were brought to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.Please Follow Us @ThePageNg
