Police arraigned Barber for stealing Fowl, others in Osun

[Osun]–Police arraigned a 32 year old man,Gbenga Daramola on Monday before an Osun State magistrate court sitting in Osogbo over alleged burglary.

Daramola is alleged on a four count charge bothering on stealing and felony.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Olayiwola Rasaki, told the court that the accused committed the offense on Sept. 9 at about 5:30pm at Balogun Biro, Oke Baale area in Osogbo.

Rasaki said the accused broke into the apartment of one Saka Mojirade and stole some items to include the following : Baby clothes, fowl, 2crates of coca cola and one Huawei phone.

He said the value of the items stolen by the accused worth about N 40,000.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the four count charge preferred against him.

The Defence counsel, Mr Okobe Najite, applied for his client bail in the most liberal and affordable terms.

The Magistrate , Mrs Fatimoh Sodamade, granted the accused bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in the like sum.

Sodamade said the surety must reside within the court jurisdiction with evidence of tax payments and two passport sized photographs, attached with an affidavit of means.

She thereby adjourned the case to October 26 for mention.
